The Pensions Policy Institute (PPI) has appointed Dr Suzy Morrissey as deputy director.
She joins from New Zealand’s Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission, where she was director of policy and research and led on work including the statutory triennial Review of Retirement Income Policies. Morrissey previously worked at the New Zealand Treasury.
Chris Curry, director at the PPI said Morrissey’s experience in New Zealand was “closely aligned with the work the institute carries out”.
“As an independent research organisation, the PPI holds a unique position informing the policy debate around pensions and later life outcomes,” Curry added. “Suzy joins the team with a clear understanding of the value of independent, fact-based analysis when informing any policy debates.”
